Is it bad for your joints if you crack your fιngers all the time?

Answer #1

I dunno but I’ve heard that more you crack ur fingers the more thick they will be ? lol

Answer #2

It was believed that it would cause arthritis but now it’s believed that there are no negative effects from cracking fingers. It just releases dopamine (feel good feelings) in the brain when you crack your fingers, that’s why people do it all the time.

Answer #3

That’s what we’ve always been told, right? But when you go to a chiropractor what do they do? Crack your joints.

Answer #4

Yea i think, my moms a bone doctor & she said it’s not good for your hands. when i tryed doing it my hands always felt sore so yea :)

Answer #5

I always crack my big right toe and, as much as I love it, it does feel stiff some times.

Answer #6

Bursting bubbles/gas of the joints, as you reach your elderly age your fingers won’t be as straight, you’ll be holding an object, sa a glass and out of nowhere you’ll drop it, you’ll be handling stuff when you get older that you won’t even notice. Cracking any of your knuckles your neck, etc. can have some minor-major issues in the future. I do enjoy cracking my knuckles once in a while and I’m used to it; a bad habit indeed.

Answer #7

‘Cracking” your knuckels will make them “big” and hard to wear rings. You neen a larger size ring to slide over the knuckle, but then it’s too loose on the rest of your finger, which is why my wedding ring is on my key chain in my pocket.

Answer #8

NO, I have been cracking mine for over 50 years and they look and feel perfectly normal, and I still wear the same size ring I did in high school.
