Why is it that the Johovah's witness people are the only ones that come knocking on your door to attend their church?

its not just Johovah’s Witnesses ive had american Mormons knock my door,a saviour in Mark 16:15 “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” some people follow that, and people should respect the fact there preaching to people because they only want to spread what there religion is about. these two old women,who are Johovah’s witnesses,come out in the cold weather knock my door and i actually take the time to listen to them and what they have to say.

I mainly think that its because they choose to, I think a cristian or a catholic could do that as well, they just choose not to? Also they dont only come and try to get you into their church, they also give you classes in the home.

Part of their requirments is to knock on 755 doors. As the mormon requirements, one is 2yrs missionary duty somewhere. Our house is on the JW’s list to by-pass, don’t stop, king’s X on this door, cause I have studied their cult beliefs and counter their so-called “christian doctrines”.

I’m generally cordial but something always bothered about door-to-door proselytizers. They consider themselves to be missionaries and they consider me to be a heathen. Doesn’t it seem a little insulting to anyone else that there are people who go around so sure they are right and I am evil and wrong that it is their duty to save me from myself?

You did not invite these people to your house so you have no obligation to hear them out or even to be polite or respectful. Any courtesy you show them is far more than they deserve.

Bibles and literature explaining the Bible are made available, and if the householder desires, a home Bible study is conducted free of charge. Therefore, Jehovah’s Witnesses try to recommend the good news to others in this way also: by being exemplary in the Christian conduct that they recommend to others. They try to ‘do unto others as they would have others do unto them.’ (Matthew 7:12) They try to be this way with all men, not just with fellow Witnesses, friends, neighbors, or relatives. Being imperfect, they do not always succeed 100 percent. But it is the desire of their hearts to do good unto all people not only in telling them the good news of the Kingdom but also in extending a helping hand whenever possible.—James 2:14-17.

JW’s are bringing a different gospel to people’s doors, a gospel of works. The Bible says if “anyone” preaches a different gospel than Salvation by Grace, they gonna be in deep trouble. First things first Trinity.

“I and the Father are one,” said Jesus. (John 10:30) Some quote this text to prove that Jesus and his Father are two parts of a triune God. Is that what Jesus meant by this statement?

Let us take a look at the context. In verse 25, Jesus stated that he did works in the name of his Father. From verses 27 to 29, he talked about symbolic sheep whom his Father had given him. Both statements by Jesus would have made little sense to his listeners if he and his Father were one and the same person. Instead, Jesus said, in effect, ‘My Father and I are so close-knit that no one can take away the sheep from me, just as no one can take them away from my Father.’ It is much like a son saying to his father’s enemy, ‘If you attack my father, you attack me.’ No one would conclude that this son and his father were the same person. But all could perceive the strong bond of unity between them.

Jesus and his Father, Jehovah God, are also “one” in the sense that they are in complete agreement as to intentions, standards, and values. What about after Jesus’ resurrection to heaven? First Corinthians 11:3 states: “The head of the Christ is God.” In fact, the Son will always be in subjection to God. (1 Corinthians 15:28) The Scriptures therefore show that Jesus is not God Almighty. Instead, he is God’s Son.

Second blood.

Back in the days of Noah, an ancestor of all mankind, God laid down a remarkable law. While granting humans the right to eat the flesh of animals, he forbade them to consume the blood. (Genesis 9:4) He also gave them his reason, equating blood with the soul, or life, of the creature. He later said: “The soul [or life] is in the blood.” In the eyes of the Creator, blood is sacred. It represents the precious gift of life that each living soul possesses. God restated this principle again and again.—Leviticus 3:17; 17:10, 11, 14; Deuteronomy 12:16, 23.

Titus 2.13 “…the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ”. (there is or never has been a comma after “God”. Look it up)

There are 417 “I am’s” in the King James Bible, and God (Jesus) said them all. “I AM” : is the tetragrammaton of the Jewish faith.

John 14.28: “…for my Father is greater then I”. This becomes the “proof text” of the “NO HELLERS” (JW’s), for making “the Word” (John 1.1-2) “A” god instead of “God”.

No need to run to any Greek text, the statement is not a theological statement on the nature of the Trinity. The speaker here (Jesus) is about to die as a human being–not as a member of the Trinity. Don’t forget, there are TWO natures of Jesus, just as a saved born again person has two natures, the old man and the new man.

Hebrews 5.8-9 is the statement that shows WHY “the Father is greater” than his Son. It all has to do with His EARTHLY life as a man. The very idea of God the Father having to learn obedience because He wasn’t “PERFECT”. The book of Hebrews is the death toll for that JW teachings.
