It was me not God!

Ok this is f*cked up,last night I stayed up all night just to take care of this stupid virus on my computer, but this morning as soon as I ask my mom how did she like the computer now that I fixed it,but guess what she says it was God that did it,I’m like come on I did it MYSELF not him,but gives him the credit for something that I did, what is up with that???

Answer #1

Puglover is right.

Answer #2

“she should be Thanking God AND you..thanking God for giving you the knowledge to know what to do to fix it and thanking you for taking the time to do it.”

LOL I AGREE WITH PUGLOVER:)

Answer #3

wow cant believe your mom did that. its obvous you fixed the Computer. Thats the probmen people give him credit for everything eventhough he dosen’t exist.

Why would a all powerful being that can do all things be worried about 1 personal computer? c’on

Answer #4

Sounds she was acknowledging God for your God-given talent and abilities which is only right - we might think we’re big deals but we’re Nothing without Him, His mercy and grace in our lives - whether acknowledged or not.

Answer #5

Some parents can’t come out and say “thank you, I’m sorry…etc”. So just take it with a grain of salt. My parents never made me feel special over any accomplishments either. They don’t like to get warm and fuzzy. They are too wrapped up in not looking small in front of their children.

Answer #6

agreed with cmjcacam, but it is ridiculous, aye? But hey, it happens every day in hospitals. God does everything there, don’t you know? Not the nurses who worked night & day, skipped lunch, sacrificed seeing they’re family, their home life, no, it was a God that might not even exist.

Answer #7

You did it, and your mom gave credit to god. Therefor, your mom thinks you are god.

Now that your mom has elevated you to god status, maybe you don’t have to do the dishes anymore.

Answer #8

I agree with puglover, too…maybe remind mom that you can leave things up to God, however, somebody STILL has to do the footwork…and in this case, that was YOU…

Answer #9

she should be Thanking God AND you..thanking God for giving you the knowledge to know what to do to fix it and thanking you for taking the time to do it.

Answer #10

Welcome to the world of religion, where people attribute anything they don’t understand to god - based on no evidence other than that they don’t know how it happened.

“she should be Thanking God AND you..thanking God for giving you the knowledge to know what to do to fix it and thanking you for taking the time to do it.”

Really? I didn’t know god did 1:1 computer tuition.

Answer #11

Answer #12
