Why isn't my phone taking the charger?

ok so i have a verizon phone and i’ve had it since december of 2009. it was working fine until now. all of a sudden my phone is saying “Unauthorized Cable” and it’s the same charger i’ve been using since i got my phone. and sometimes my phone sends multiple messages out without me knowing it and sometimes it takes forever for a message to send. can anyone help please?

get a new charger. and probably a new phone. mine does the samething

actually as far as the messages and stuff that may be related to your service in the area and sometimes the verizon tower thing shuts down so no one with verizon can text and what not. But ask verizon to be sure.

Your phone is the problem not the charger, whatever phone you have it obviously isnt a very good one… i personally hate verizon, all the phones ive had from them have sucked

If it isn’t charging you might need a new battery in the phone or a new charger.
