Is this really not enough protein??

I’m a vegetarian so I don’t eat meat. I also don’t like peanuts, so all of my friends think I’m not getting enough protein. But I drink plenty of milk, I eat pistachios, and sometimes I have vegetarian chili and rice for dinner or lunch. Does this sound like enough protein? I don’t eat chili daily but I eat pistachios and milk daily! :)

Thanks!! xx

Answer #1

That’s not a lot of protein.

First of all, there’s no protein in rice that I’m aware of. You should increase dairy and eggs and perhaps try using tofu or bean substitution. If you don’t like peanuts, there are other nuts like almonds, cashews and pecans.

probably not enough but at least youve got some there are also many other kinds of nuts you can try as well, for example almonds, cashews, hazelnuts, walnuts, pecans, brazilizan nuts, and macademias apart from them there are many products that come from or are made from animals that have lots of protein, for example eggs, milk, soy milk, tofu, vanilla ice cream, cheese and yohgurt also a lot of soups and a lot of beans have protein as well
