Is my Chihuahua pregnant?

My Chihuahua was in heat. I took her to breed with another chihuahua and they got stuck. Her nipples have gotten bigger and its been like 4 days since this happen. Is she pregnant?

if thsy “tied” then yes, she is most likely preg, but its too early yet to see physical signs.

I’m not really sure, but it sounds like it. Take your dog to a vet, then you can know for sure.

It would more then likely have worked, How much does the female weigh compared to the male? I breed chihuahua’s and work at a vet hopital. this can be a tricky breed, My female just had a c-section because she only had one pup and it took up all the room in their, you will need to increase her food, make a whelping box, they carry anywhere from 58 to 65 days, you will need a x-ray around day 60 to know how many to expect and if she can have them on her own. you will need to start taking her temp in the anus in the last 6-7 days, Normal is 100.5 to 102.50. When a female goes into labor her temp will drop then could spike, this means she will have them with in 24 hours. She may also “nest” digging into blankets. well when a dogs pregnant there nipples do it big just take her to a vet and find out for sure
