Is god with me?

I use the King James Bible; First of all, Jesus addresses god in St. Mathew chapter 23 verse 9 , St Mathew 23:9 Jesus says, “And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven. When Jesus speaks of God he speaks of his Father in Heaven therefore he is “OUR” Father in Heaven. It brings me great comfort knowing that I have a heavenly father that loves me. Know in your heart that your Heavenly Father loves you. You are his child, and like your mother or your father loves you, so does your father in heaven. Think of your pet as your child and if your pet got lost in the world “your neighborhood” wouldn’t you hope that they would be able to find their way back home. So, does you heavenly father want you to find your way back home. He has done this by gving us directions through the scriptures. “Like a map”. He wants you to get to know him and his son “your brother” Jesus Christ and understand the Atonement and the sarifice your brotherJesus made for you to be able to return home, “because he loves you”!. The way is through reading scriptures. When you read the scriptures your spirit is receptive to the Holy Spirit of which testifies to your spirit that what you are reading is true. You will recieve comfort and a sense of peace and understanding. It’s like whe you turn on a radio and you hear nothing but static. Well, the static would represent the world’s point of view on how “YOU” should live your life. But when you read the scriptures you become receptive to the spirit. Just like on the radio you change the chanel until you get a clear reception, therefore you are able to listen clearly to the music. In this case you are able to listen to the spirit, you’re changing the chanel from the world to the spirit. In order to have the spirit with you on a daily basis, you need to feed your spirt just like your body needs food, you spirit needs the word of god and that is the scriptures.
Look up ST. JOHN chapter 15 verse 26, ST JOHN 15:26 But the Comforter, is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me. St.John 4:24 God is a spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. St. John 14:26 But the Comfoter, “which is the Holy Spirit or the Holy Ghost”, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to our remberance “meaning, we all lived with our heavenly father in heaven before we came to earth. When we come to earth there is what is called a veil, so we forget what our pre-mortal life in heaven was like with our father. So when we read the scriptures and with the presence of the Holy Spirit, we are able to remember. The holy spirit testifies to your spirit that what you are reading is true! Note: Proverbs 3:5,6 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine “your” understanding. 6, In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he will direct thy path Now to share my testimony that I know that our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ Lives. About 7 years ago, my family and co-workers new I was a religeous person. They use to come to me often with many questions regarding my beliefs. This was about a year after I was baptised, the holy spirit was very strong with me. I had a very strong feeling that I had a tumor…I went to the Doctors numerous of times getting test after test done. Nothing would show up, my family and co-workers went through this time with me thinking I had a tumor. I then felt it was perhaps in my head “the tumor” so I had an MRI done, and to much of my relief it came out to be negative! But, at that moment the spirit told me it was in my spine. I pushed the still small voice away thinking it’s all in my head, I’m just going crazy! So, for six months I went on with my life. Then one day, I was driving to my sisters house with my 4 year old son in the back seat of my car, and a man ran a stop sign. It spun our car around, Old Licoln Town car at that! I Hit my head in the car. My son and I were rushed to the Hospital. My son was thankfully o.K. but I was feeling tingling in my faceand head. The doctor’s, took X-Rays of my neck, my sister “who new I have been searching for a tumor previously” was sitting right next to me when my Doctor showed me a glowing ball in the X-ray. It was a tumor! It was big and it was attached on my spinal chord and between my major artery leading to my brain. I had also broken my neck. I broke my Odontoid process “of which I should be dead or a parapalegic”. My sister and I just froze with astonishment! I know that my heavenly father “being a single mother” needed for me to be here to take care of my son. Since the doctors weren’t finding where the tumor was, he needed something to happen to direct them to the area to find it and save my life. My tumor was between C-2 and C-3, I Broke my neck and fracured it from C-1 through C-3. The tumor was right between the fracture. Because of the location of the inury to my neck the tumor was able to be found and removed. The tumor would have put pressure against my spinal chord, but mostly preventing blood flow to my brain. Now, haveing to go through to major surgeries, one to remove the tumor and 2 to fix my broken neck…I needed to sign my life away knowing that I may not come out of the surgeries alive. I could come out of the surgery as a parapolegik “sorry I don’t know how to spell that” or I could come out o.k. or not make it at all. I was terrified! Every night when I layed alone in the darkness of my bedroom before my first surgery,not knowing what my fate was going to be, I would lay there trembling uncontrolably. I new that I needed the comfort of my Havenly Father to know that everything was going to be o.k. I would get myself out of bed and get my scriptures. I would first pray to my Heavenly Father for comfort and peace to know that I was going to be able o.k. and to be able to feel my son, to hold him in my arms and be able to take care of him. I then would sit on my couch and read scriptures. Gradually as I read, my tembling body calmed and I felt peace overcome me with love from my hevenly father, and read scriptures. I always recieved the love and comfort knowing that I was going to be o.k. My first surgery went very well. I went through the same trembling ordeal for 3 months until I had my second surgery. Every night I went to my Heavenly Father for comfort and he was there for me and gave me the comfort, love and assurance that I neeeded to get through this scary time in my life . I am completely normal except I can;t turn my head fully to the right. But, any doctor who hears that I fractured my Odontoid Process, their mouth’s dop to the floor in amazement that I am alive.
As for my family and my co-workers, this was a testimony to them that Heavenly father is real and that he is in our lives, we just need to acknowledge his existance. Sorry for the writing it is late and I am tired , but I just wanted to share my testimony and hope that you can recognize the love that your heavenly father has for you and that he is in your life.

pray and invite the holy spirit into your home read scriptures in the morning before school or work and before bed attend a meeting house so that you may be with others who are seeking to better their lives and to draw closer to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Get baptised repententce “Choose the right “ If you can’t see Jesus doing it then don’t do it!
