yes, but only if you striaghten your hair everyday. the best thing to do is use this serum for your hair called design line it will help keep your hair from the heat so it won’t damage your hair as much as not using a styling product.

it’s quite harmfull, you can minimize it by using anti-heat protection spray before straightening. You can buy good ones at Boots (if you live in UK) - I recommend Andrew Collinge heat defence spray

yes, irons obvioulsy arnt meant for your hair it will fry them, mke them weaker, and pretty much kill all the life and shine in your hair it wouldnt be at all advisable to iron it, especially not with an older clothes iron you could try straightening it that too will ruin your hair, but its less likley as its not as hot, or dangerouse
