Ipod disconection help!

Whenever I try to “eject” (disconnect) my ipod nano it says, “this item could not be ejected because it is being used by another aplication.” I have nothing else open! Help asap! What to do?

Thanks! Maddie

Oh so you have to close the application completely in the computer first!

Answer #2

Did you connect it to anything?

Answer #3

uhm yeah. I connected my ipod to the computer : /

Answer #4

Need to make sure that you eject it in iTunes (if that’s the program you use) because if you close the program it could keep it locked up. Make sure you have all other music programs closed, also, and not running in the background. If all else fails you (not positive) may be able to click a little icon on your tray (lower right corner) that says “Safely Remove Hardware.” Click this one and remove it there, this usually works for everything I run.

Hope this helps. 8D Good luck.
