What if my inlaws still don't know me?

what do you do when you give your inlaws a year and a half to get to know you and they dont know anything not even your middle name and they still treat you like an outsider?

People are different - just continue to be nice and friendly at all times they’re around you - that, they will notice, even if they don’t acknowledge it…Good luck !!

dont hold that kind of thought in you, you should just let them know your feelings so at least they can get a clue, but if that still continues then, just don’t bother I guess, ask your mate why. maybe he or she can fix it or talk to them whatever you’ll be comfortable with,

Dear crazybeautiful7154, This is something your husband needs to discuss with his family. He needs to make them aware that you wish to get to know them better by spending time with them and interacting. They may not be receptive to this idea and some families never accept the daughter in law/son in law. So do everything you can so you feel comfortable that you tried, keeping in mind that you may never have a close relationship with them. Sue…good luck
