How can I convince my Mom that he's a nice guy?

Ok, so im 14. At the beginging of the school year my mom let me have a boyfriend, but when I told her I had one she gave me a big lecture on us having “NO PHISICAL CONTACT” so I broke up with him. Then a month later we got back together, and I got the same lecture when I told her. But we kissed and made out, nothing too bad, but my MOM found out and made me break up with him. and then I was grounded and now I cant have a boyfriend till im 16. BUT, its summer and now weir back together again. I want to tell my mom, but I want her to let me stay with him because I really like him. how can I convince her hes a nice guy.

Till you make only kissing etc. it is not obligatory to tell everything to your moms. You may say that you and the b/f held each other’s hand. Of course the ideal would be to tell everything, because you would need a supervision of a more practiced woman, but time to time it is not possible. But if you are without this protection you have to know that all the responsibility is yours. So you should be more aware of any sxual things then you could be with your mom’s support and advice. Sxual things are not without any danger for such a 14 yo girl.

Dear emoelmolovesyou, Well you’ve already lied to your mother so it is no wonder she wouldn’t believe you that your boyfriend is a nice guy. You can’t just betray people like that and expect them to just go on like nothings happened. You have no one to blame but yourself. It is going to take some time for your mother to trust you again.
