I think Katwomen is probably just looking for some drama. Dying of boredom is a well known saying. && well www.bored.com is set up for those that need to fight the monster that is boredom. But I suggest for a long term arrangement try and get a hobbie :) like reading/writing/painting/photography/sports ect ect

Answer #4

talk to someone..

Answer #5

. . .and I’m the one who’s being dramatic? ;)

loshmo, bored.com is about games, etc. Dying of boredom may be a well known saying but it isn’t meant to be taken literally.

Also, I don’t need to look for drama. I DO have a deadly disease. I have COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease), also known as Emphysema & Chronic Bronchitis.

When I was 27 and pregnant with my daughter (who is now 28) in 1980, I found out that I had Cancer. After going through major exploratory surgery (including a c-section, liver biopsy, Slpeenectomy & a Tubal Ligation) I had to undergo 8 weeks of Radiation.

“I’ve been through many surgeries and have had a lot of treatments such as Chemotherapy. I, also, have more illnesses than just the COPD, including Hepititis C, but the list is way too long and it’s not that important to list them.”

Anyway, the doctors said that I would have Emphysema in 10 to 15 years. That’s what Radiation does to you, along with other problems related to the esophagus, lungs, neck muscles and neck and back bones.

I’m on Oxygen 24 hrs a day and have been for 8 years. I am mostly bedridden. The only time I go out of my apartment, is to go to my Dr appointments.

I just get a little upset when people are insensitive and, take lightly, the real terminal illnesses.

I know that a lot of people on here are young and haven’t been exposed to someone like me. I do wish that people would do research before posting stuff of this nature to avoid taking lightly, something that is so real to some of us..

Thnx for reading. Here’s a site about COPD. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chronic_obstructive_pulmonary_disease

Answer #6

I can’t believe what I just read. How can you say something like that, when there are people who are dying from real illnesses. Obviously, you have never been sick or you would not take the subject so lightly. Personally, I take offense to this comment.
