Im a aspiring metalhead musician my parents dont' know

Im a 15 yr old musician but the thing is my parents do not know I want to be a metalhead. They think its only for fun. Im always at my friends house and we practice everyday for at least 2-3 at his place and at school. I do not know how to confront them that I like bands like slayer and want to be like them

my parents are kinda of the same I listen to like cancer bats, behemoth, dimmu borgir, cannible corpse, slayer, and oldish metal bands etc and my mum was all like freakin out when she heard the music coming from my room id love to have a proper metal band but

  1. I dont have any proper metalhead friends
  2. my mum wud kill me
  3. my family wud think its weird for a girl wanting to be in a metal band

I just am so passionate about metal real metal

anyways I think you shud tell your parents at least your not going into hip-hop/rap culture

ahhh…well sooner or later they are going to find out but slayer arnt that bad you should tell them to listen to the lyrics from most of todays music its all about sex,drugs,fast cars, naked chicks…more sex…ect lol and then listen to the lyrics of some of the bands from 20+ years ago… because there a lot better! and slayer has nothing to do with anything evil…there a bloody great band! when you tell your parents tell them that its not up to them to choose what music you listen to, its up to you you have just as much right to listen to slayer as they do listening to whatever music they listen to so me a metalhead and be proud!

pretty strict. they found one of my slayer albums and went crazy as if it were the end of the world
