Would it be illegal to download a movie from the internet and then burn it onto a disk?

But, if they provide the bar named DOWNLOAD, meaning that you can (legally) down load it, right? Download a movie which are downloadable is not illegal I supposed. It is the re-copying and selling that is illegal.

According to me its not illegal….but in literary meaning its illegal….

WHY NOT: some sites gives you the movie for free did u ever think why they did so?? what’s the profit to them if they give you free movie??? the only answer is that they earns through advertisement and some sites also earns through visitors…so its profitable if people visit their sites so they post all those movies free of cost.

WHY IT IS: all those sites buys a CD or collect it from some one and post it for their own profits….but the spnosor of those movies or the producer don’t gets any profit from them as people downloads from all those site and those owner dont pay to them.

I download lots of movies for free, but I also buy a whole lot. There’s also programs now who let you do what you want without anyone seeing your IP.

Just come to China. They have fake movies everywhere… Actually, you CAN’T find real movies here… Even the legit grocery stores have a little section of fake DVDs…

if you burn it on a disc and dont give it out or sell it. who cares SO MANY PEOPLE do it and its an uncontroble thing. like i said u need 24/7 interent police but its not going to happen, as long as u dnt have 1000’s of copied songs or movies dont worry about u are not the only one who will or have done it. I wonder if cookielove ever done it or has accepted such things frm friends :P
