If someone was in your dreams, did they dream about you?

Ok. So this dream seemed real and fake. Kinda like a movie.

I dreamt that I was at my counselors office and I saw my ex (Which I’m not fond of) and that he wanted to see/talk to me. So I ran away and went home. Then my dad asks me “Are you ok? You seem worried?” “Yeah I’m kinda worried.” and then my ex xomes to my house, just comes right in through the front door without knocing and looks around the house for me. But here is where its like a movie. My dream jumps to this part where my ex’s friend comes sneaking in through the door while my ex is still looking for me. then my dream goes back to my point of view where my ex is looking for me. Then my ex goes back to the living room when all of a sudden his friend strarts stbbing him out of the middle of nowhere! So I freak out and take my bike to a friends house. I run into my friend and told her what I saw. Then I woke up.
