Would it be a good idea for me to set up my own website where people can share their YouTube channels to help promote their channels?

There will be websites out there which will be similar to mine but I think it would be a fun & interesting idea though. I was thinking about building up the website so that all it basically is, is a forum. I will split the forum into different YouTube categories and then within the categories you will find people posts where they talk about their channel. They would be able to discuss what people enjoy about their videos and what they don’t and what ever. Each person can have their own posts. I know its not much, but it will be forums with a personality and a fun place to discover new YouTubers and share ideas and what ever. It will also give me something to do in my spare time and maybe if it gets popular bring in a little extra money :)
