How can I tell my man I want a baby?

I really really want a baby! I know people will think that I’m too young and I should be enjoying life but I can’t wait to be a mum. A friend of mine has just had a baby and when I see them together I wish it was me. Me and my Partner have been together for 3 years and I don’t think he wants children quite yet but I really do. I think we would both make brilliant parents and our baby would never need for anything. How can I tell my partner the way I feel without scaring him off?

u asked the same question ive been asking myself for some time of corse uve been wit ur guy alot longer then ive been wit mine ive been wit my guy only about 6 months but i love him and i want his kid im scared to tell him how i feel cuz i dont want him to think im russing things im 20 this guy is older hes 29 he has a daughter every one i know is having a baby or just had on or have a kid ive wanted to have a baby sence i was about 16 ive waited 4 years and ive thought about it all the time i told the guy im wit earlier that i wanted a baby so it wasnt something that he didnt know but im scared to tell him that im ready to have a baby i think not that hed leave me but that he wouldnt want to have a baby

Having a baby is a huge/life-altering decision - will this stable? home environment last (no committment/ no marriage) - you’ve got to be absolutely honest with yourself: Am I doing this to hold-on to him ? - you already know what he would say, he told you - do not consider only YOU.

Give the poor guy a chance to run for the hills. Go read up in the Kids advice section for a bit. Having a baby and raising a human being are two different things. I don’t know how old you are, but if yuo believe there is a possibility that he will break up with you, then you have to give him that chance. He has a right to know what you’re thinking if it involves his future. Don’t be a selfish brat and give the poor guy a chance to decided what HE wants.
