I said something I shouldnt have.

I had a huge arguement with my dad the other day and I shouted at him I wished he would be killed I feel so bad about it because I certainly didn’t mean it and I know it must have been so hurtful. I feel so guilty. I’ve said sorry but I don’t feel it’s enough. I feel really bad.

He’s going on a night out tomorrow night too, and I’m scared he WILL be killed because I said I wanted him to be, and I really really didn’t mean it.

I dunno what to do.

Go put your arms around him and say ‘Dad, you know in the heat of the moment we all say things that we don’t really mean - I didn’t mean it at all, I’m so sorry, I never want to hurt you, I love you Dad’ - that ‘ll melt his heart !

Go sit down and tell him you ARE sorry. You never meant those words to come out of your mouth. Tell him you love him. Give him a HUUUGGGEEE hug. The important thing is to let him know that you didn’t mean what you said & you’re truly sorry!

Sometimes I do that - speak before I think. I’ve said some pretty hurtful things to others. Blah. I wish I never did say those things! It makes me feel horrible now :’(

Look If everything I wished for happened, I would not be where I am right now. Tell him you are sorry, and mean it. Ask him if he excepts your apology and tell him to be safe when he goes out. Let this be a lesson learned that you should think before you speak, and when you are angry don’t shout out stuff that you will later regret. you need to talk to him

Apologize…and tell him what you REALLY feel…that’s all you have to do…
