How can I get my crush to talk to me?

I am 20 years old. The guy that I like is 28. He is an electrician and he worked on my house. I live with my “friend” who is a guy, we dont do anything together, we only have one bed, but theres no where to put another bed, my guy friend sleeps on the couch & I get the bed or whoever gets into bed first, gets the bed. I’m not attracted to him in the least…but look: The guy at my house (Brian) was there for about 2 weeks and during that 2 weeks, I definitely started crushing on him…He’s a very strong Christian, which I think is awesome! I snabbed his number one day when he called and I sent him a text message. (he had been texting a lot at my house so I figured it was ok)…He replied to my text and we talked for 2 days straight. Then out of nowhere he’s like “Well…I dont want this to hurt but I think it’s going to, we can’t talk anymore!” So I’m thinking omg what did I do…so I reply: “Why can’t we talk anymore?” and he told me that it’s because of how he was raised, and the way he feels about the scripture. Then after a while of talking about how sad I would be if we weren’t friends, he said he was seeing someone…I think he was just saying that to maybe get me to back off easier…but seriously though…I have no idea what I did to make him decide he doesn’t want to be my friend or talk to me anymore. I am a christian, I recently moved an hour from my home church and have not found one yet, but why did he assume that I’m a bad person or something? Because I live with a GUY?! I dont know! But I really like him! I had my best friend call him and try to explain I’m not a bad person, but he’s stopped answering and he won’t reply to my texts. But then he says “please dont text me again…” and then he sends ME a random text…but if I reply to that text…he wont reply to me. I’m so confused…and my heart hurts. Seriously, why do you think he’s doing this to me?

Sounds to me like he thinks you’re living in sin. I guess maybe he’s assumed you’ve got a live in boyfriend, or friend w/ benefits, etc. Or maybe he DOES have a girlfriend.

Regardless, he’s acting like a total flake, so you need to move on.
