I pierced my tounge yesterday anddd...

im like getting some weird puss coming out of the whole.. is that normal? I remove it with a q-tip and use a lot of mouthwash.. but it still hurts=/ what can I do or what?

if “you” peirced it then no, it was not done profesionally and you should either take it out imediantly or show it to a doctor or a profesional peircer

Sounds infected with the pus and all that. The mouth is the largest area (other than the gi tract, but nobody pierces that,,,yet) of bacteria on/in the body. I can’t believe so many people go without infection after. Having their tongue done or getting snake bites or other lip piercings!! I’ve heard Mandyloo mention the body rejecting the piercing– maybe an allergy to the type of metal used to make the bolt. you should get into a walk-in clinic tomorrow. Unless it starts to bother you (the pain icrease or the pus increases in amount) you could probably wait until tomorrow unless you have a fever right now. Take your temp and if it is 100.0 or more go to the emergency room tonight. If no fever present, try rinsing your mouth with warm salt water several times through the night. Good luck!! {=
