I need insight on a womans cycle/period

I just want to educate myself a bit on this.

Okay so if a woman has a normal cycle of 28 days. How long after her period are her eggs released and available to be fertilized by sperm. How long do the eggs live how many or released to be able to become fertilized. Do they all come to be fertilized at the same time in the month?

Just give me some insight on this some reason I have become a little curious about the whole thing. I feel as if I should educate myself more about this since I am sexually active now. I like to be educated and know what I’m dealing with so I don’t get any surprises.

So 1 sometimes 2 eggs are released every month right. but some girls release eggs after their periods sooner than others. which is why you can’t really ever be sure? I also understand that sperm can live for a few days which is why woman can get pregnant if they have sex on their period.

sex while a girl is on their period is rather messy. my girl thought she was done bleeding because it was only a few spots the whole day and it was day 3 of her period and she normally only bleeds for 3 days. well I noticed some blood on the condom and not long after I pulled out blood was coming out rather fast I didn’t even think they bleed that much their whole period it was rather much. That was from her period right?

Hi

Firstly most woman don’t have a normal cycle of 28 days. It various extremely and there is no fixed way of determining exactly when a woman will ovulate (egg will be realeased)

Secondly I want to add that it is good to be aware of how a woman’s reproductive cycle works, but that it is NEVER a fixed way of determining when she’ll fall pregnant. Some woman even fall pregnant in their periods, since sperm can stay in a womans body for up to even 7 days.

Also only one egg needs to be released to be able to become fertilized and MOSTLY only one …sometimes two eggs are released.

Here is a site that really explains some things well. Scroll down and start at the topic menstrual myths. or just read everything :-)

hey thanks for answering my question haha I will help you out. :)

heres the thing…no matter the time of the month a girl can get pregnant. when she is ovulating there is a better chance but you can honestly get pregnant any time sperm comes in contact with an egg. so, always always always use protection. you can also use this spermaside stuff too if you want to be extra careful. (its like lube that you put on under a condom that kills your sperm before it can get to anything)

I dont know exactly how long eggs live, I would assume it would be untill they leave during a girls period. and different amounts of eggs are released all the time, it depends on the girl and the time of the month.

just be safe :)

“””So 1 sometimes 2 eggs are released every month right. but some girls release eggs after their periods sooner than others. which is why you can’t really ever be sure?”””

Yes that and the fact that sperms stays inside your body for a few days.

Yes, the bleeding was from her period. Sometimes when you think your period is finished it may not be…so it seems like it stops for a day but then the next day it continues.
