I need help figuring out what to say to him please answer me

this guy I have been with he told me that he didn’t want anything serious and I asked him if I can date other guys and he turned his head and said its ok and I made a mistake by asking him again and he said he was cool with the idea and when we were walking he saw me checking other guys and then he stopped calling me and when I finally asked him out he turned me down for two days on a row and then he text me:I will call you tomorrow or the day after ok? and I want to text him and apologize but I don’t know what to say so please help me in details what I should say in this msg

First of all, it’s great that you were honest enough to ask if it was ok to date other guys. As cheesy and cliche as it sounds, honesty is the best policy.

From what it sounds like, although he says that he doesn’t mind you dating other guys, he seems to have a problem with it.

A lot of guys put on this front, just like other girls put on this front too, to avoid getting hurt. From what it sounds like, it seems as if you want to be with this guy.

Just because he doesn’t want a serious relationship, doesn’t make him a bad guy. He might be confused about his feelings, and afraid of getting hurt. You need to tell him what’s in your heart and how you really feel about him. Don’t sugar coat anything. If you truly want to be with this guy and only him, then let him know where you stand, don’t deny your feelings and say: “Oh, I don’t want to be in a serious relationship either”. If you really don’t want a serious relationship at all, then I suggest you just break it off with him and do your thing. Because it’s just going to get harder for the both of you.Tell him what you’re feeling, that’s the best advice I can give.
