I’m confused. Does it hurt when you pee or not? You say it does, and it doesn’t…

This most certainly does sound like cystitis - I used to get these quite frequently. I have now learnt how to avoid it. If you want to practice safe sex, you should always use a condom.

Cystitis does mean a bladder infection, which you have previously been told. There are many cures out in the chemists/shops that help relieve you of the pain. Other soloutions would be to drink cranberry juice (which I absoloutely hate). But my advice to you is to drink plenty of water in the day, have a bottle by you for night time. Go toilet after you have had sex (this flushes out any badness) and perhaps a shower right after sex? Always shower daily. Try not to use soaps or gels in the genitila area as you might have a reaction to this. Do not use deodrant sprays down below either.

I always used to run myself a hot bath with a drink of hot chocolate or tea. I would stay in the bath for about 20 - 30 minutes and then get out and go to bed.

In bed I would always lay down a towel and wear pads (pads for periods usually) inside a pair of clean pants so I could pee into them.

The doctors are only going to have you pee in a cup to test you for a bladder infection…they won’t have to give you a full examine, so they would have no way of knowing you’re sexually active. Plus, your parents wouldn’t have to know anything about your appointment, there’s rule and laws against it…

Answer #4

You should go to the doctor because if you pee and it hurts or burns it may have somthin to do with your bladder so go to the doctor and lay off sex until you get healthy…!!:-!

Answer #5

yeah it definetly sounds like a bladder infection, as I have experienced this myself it really is uncomfortable and I find that I go to the loo more often. I thought it was a sign of pregnancy, but it couldn’t be because it shouldn’t burn/hurt when you pass urine. Best advice for anyone who is experiencing this kind of thing should see their doctor straight away.
