I miss my teacher

I miss my art teacher, I cant stop thinking or talking about him, I used to follow him around in the halls and I was so motivated by his words of encouragement. He made me look forward to going to school every day, but this summer he decided to retire. Most people at my school hated him, and they are glad hes gone. They don’t understand why I’m so depressed!

I think your teacher was someone that you really looked up too for guidance and such. I know that its hard not to hear those words of encouragement but, at least you have those in the back of your mind. Maybe you could remember certain times that you too talked, then you can kind of relate to what you’re really missing. I think the reason that your not motivated because you miss his presents. Its like an emty void inside. He taught you talent, strength, encouragement, kindness, someone that you were probably more comfortable with when it came to problems. You don’t need to worry what other people say about him, since not everyone liked him. Its too bad he retired but, at least you have memories of him. Think of those, then you’ll feel better. You can feel better when you think of these things. If you looked him up, you can get in touch with him, and, talk to him. Or, email him if possible. That could be something you could do to bring yourself up again. Hope I helped.

maybe he just brought out something in you that you liked. many people in our lives bring out the good and the bad in us, some make us feel special some make us feel horrible…

you need to realise that what that teacher did, was only bring out in you what was in there already…it was there, he just had the skills to draw them out…

finding someone inspirational is rare, and finding that inspiration from others can be dangerous, you can quickly come to depend on them for direction.

you had the ability the skill and the drive inside you, you just need to harness the motivation he gave you and do well, show him that he planted the seed, but you grew on your own…

have faith in yourself that you can achieve what you want without the help from anyone else..

and why don’t your friends ‘get it’ as such, because not every one likes everyone, not everyone finds the sames things moving…he brought out a quality in you you didn’t know you had and you saw the special skills he had…not everyone can see the good in the things people do, even if ti is for their benefit…(sadly)

Answer #3

I don’t understand either. Do you think that your feelings for him could be deeper than a student/teacher relationship? What happened to the motivation? What happened to the words of encouragement he left behind? So, he has retired and he’s gone on. Maybe you can be happy with the things he left behind, the things that he taught you. Sounds like he was a great teacher and he should be missed. Time will get you through it. Don’t worry about how others feel about him.

Answer #4

Cause you was in love with him.
