blood drive when they prick your finger to check

Okay tomorrow is the blood drive at my school, and I’m really nervous about the beginning when they prick your finger to check your iron…does it hurt? I think the part that scared me is the noise. hahaha.Help?

ummm how did it go??? I dont have diabetes or anything but soon I am getting tested for asthma. what do they do when you get tested for asthma. my younger sister did and I was there the whole time it was scary. I am the person who freaks out like hell when I see a needle. once in a blood test I was kickinf and screaming. lord give me strength.

trust me I had multiple blood tests-I’m anemic, where you dont have enough iron in your blood..so your more likely to faint and be pale and stuff…Anyway, just think, a pin prick on your finger is much better than having a hugee injection,rite? Oh and if theres a window, look out of it, it relaxes you…!!!

it hurts just for a bit, I think its just the surprise of it, because its so quick, but it aint that bad I think the bigger needle is what will hurt the most. hopefully you get a good enought reading the first time because if you dont they will poke you again. good luck :)
