I'm confused about Twilight?

I just now finished the first book, and I’m confused. At the end it says “And he leaned down to press his col lips once more to my throat.” Does that mean she’s turning into a vampire too?

ah, its okay. every other girl in my school is reading it and talking about. I’m probably bound to here more about it anyways, lol. thanks, though.
