FAU I tell you what is missing in the nonbeliever person 1-you live without feeling happy and secure.even if you are happy your happiness comes from material things that will vanish and your happiness will be temporary not eternal because only the happiness that comes from jesus is eternal Wrong Fau, who says I am unhappy or insecure??? Me, my husband and kids are in the “middle income class” Yeah we have worked hard to get in life what we own today, it surely DID NOT fall into our laps and we take care of it BECAUSE we know a nice car, a nice house and all luxuries in it WILL NOT drop from heaven and haven’t drop from heaven before (we have actually work hard for it ourselves).
Do YOU perhaps have luxuries you should not have?: In Matthew 6:19-21, Jesus tells his followers to give up on possessions: “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. In Matthew 19:21 Jesus says: “If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.”

2-you lack the feeling of being protected by god’s power. What gives you this idea??? I was a xtian for more than 38yrs, now don’t you think, IF there was a REAL gawd or REAL protection I would have felt it or even see any evidence of it surrounding me a long time ago??? Come on!!!

Why wouldn’t any of the above make sense to me, do you really think all Atheist were born like that and that the possibility of them being ex-christians doesn’t exist (them knowing all the possible angles you guys would take to try convince us otherwise) Or did you perhaps suggest that my brain is not capable of dealing with age old knowledge??? if you died today where are you going?have you got a clue?

If I die today, I am going 6 feet under, like all of us and there we are going to stay, fantasy is not part of my life! Do you perhaps have any EVIDENCE of any person, family or friends who went somewhere else after death? (Please don’t use jesus as evidence because you know it is no fact) of course not because you lack the knoweldge in your life if you were with god you would know you lack the experience of god’s love of god’s voice of god’s comfort How can imply something when you don’t know IF “I have knowledge in my life”, are you the only one then with knowledge, because according to me again, your knowledge is wrong. So who is right and who is wrong? Show me some evidence and facts and I would re-consider!

if you really want to know what you are missing read the bible and see what a great god you miss dealing with.and see what he had done for you on the cross which you are ignoring Who EVER said there is something missing in my life, if anything, I think I am living a wonderful life, enjoy every moment of reality I can only now experience. Can you drink poison without dying? If not, according to Jesus, he must not believe.

I’m happy with my life. I’m happy because I have friends who like me for who I am and I’m not surounded by people who will try and convert me or just say that I’m going to hell for not believing.

Do you know where you are going once you die? No. You have a belief of where you are going.

If you want to know what you are missing, go and make some friends who aren’t Christian.

I have a friend that recently started believing in the christian god and it helped her deal with a history of being molested and stop drinking and doing drugs…

So obviously it works for some people.

Yah I love him a lot of the time. With my crazy life I do my best to pray at least twice a day and let him know I am not forgeting what he did. I get mad though sometimes and try to blame it on him but then I relize that it’s not his fault. So all in all yah I do love him.

I like to make new friends. Honestly though, I’ve never met this Jesus, so I’m not sure I would like him. From what I’ve heard, he sounds ok other than being a bit preachy.

yes I love Jesus. I do and always will. I really wish that it wouldnt be as difficult to convince someone to be christian.. a bunch of my friends are muslim and I feel bad because quite a few of them seem unhappy.

It is nice that people replied even though we have different faiths. Jesus is my Lord and Savior. I guess that makes me a proud Christian!

I don’t hate your God I just don’t believe in him for many reasons,just thought I’d say something. It’s good to know their are people who do love him cause I live with Christians. I respect that fully.

To a believer there is something missing if a person does not believe. But I won’t ever be mean or try to make you change. I will jsut spread the Word and if a seed is planted, then good!

Please tell me what is missing in a non-believer??? Lack of Imagination??? Because we can watch Harry Potter and Shrek, use our imaginations throughout the movies, but still come back to reality afterwards and think rational in the world surrounding us!

We can read an age old script and also understand why billions imagine there is a supernatural god “trying” to keep them safe, we only choose to live our life’s rational.

I would not be happy living with a god for all eternity if I knew that loved ones of mine were sent to hell simply for not believing. Believing in the supernatural does not bring you happiness, believeing in yourself does.

I have never seen one sign of this protection you speak of. I have had seen some pretty bad things happen to believers. The protection didn’t seem to work for them.

And yet another christian talking to us as if we have never heard a word about chrisitianity. We know all about it and the bible. Probably more than you. You have no need to try and convert us. Most of has have already been there and decided it was not real.
