Why did it hurt to see him?

Well we have a festival (fiesta?) in our town every year. We just had one and I saw my former love. I’ve asked advice before about my love, and I’m pretty sure I fell out of love with him. Anyways, my friend that I went to la fiesta with feels SO bad for me that we never actually dated/ we were just together. I saw him yesterday walking around and he was with another girl! As i was walking by him, I saw him with another girl. My heart just sank when i saw him, and he only said “hola”. NOTHING ELSE. Then every time I saw him walking down the street, he would ignore me! He turned into a real jerk, and it doesnt even feel like we’re friends anymore! THen I saw him at the bullfight and him and the other girl were there and they both glared at me. I just want to know why my heart sank and why I felt like I wanted him sooo badly when i saw him there. Also, I still think hes a good person inside, but do you think that we can still be friends???

My questions: Why did i hurt and want him back so bad? Can we still be friends, even though hes acting like this and has another girl/?

Well you were there first! I used to think it’s better to play fair and honest, but all is fair in love and war. As long as you know that you might not succeed and try to refrain from being overly emotional and needy. (Speaking from personal experience. There is nothing wrong with being friends, but if he’s being a jerk than I would reconsider if I were you.

no u probably should not do that bcuz put ur self in the girls shoes how would u feel if ur bf was still friends talking on the phone woth his ex u should not tollerate that and i know she doesnt want to either and i have no idea why they glared at you maybe they were trying to mak e u jealous but if it didnt work dont worry about it then and try to stay for away from him as possible maybe thats what the girl is trying to do scare u off
