I just lost $1700, should I tell my parents?

how did you lose the money? did you drop it someware or gamble? lose it around the house what??? your killing me here. If you lost it around the house they may have it and are waiting for you to say something. they should have put that in the bank for you there almost as responcablefor the loss as you. If you had droped it in a store I work at a department store and when we or a customer finds money we lock it up for a wile and hope it’s clamed. let me know thanks you should tell them.

I say tell them.. I mean it is your money you can do w/e you want with it so if you lose it its your own fault ya know… you still have to do the work and all but tell them that if you are gonna need any other money for the next 6 months you will do even more work around the house.. unless you just get payed cause you are lucky then tell them you will do some work.. like I said.. they shouldnt get too mad.. its not there money anymore.. you will just have to find your own way to get money

Actually, Im studying abroad so they would not be able to find out about that. It’s just that I think if I tell them then I would feel much better, but Im worried about their feelings.

I still say tell them - it would be better to get it out then to live with the guilt.

Be honest with them. They might be mad, but they will be ever more mad if they find out you lied to them and kept that secret.
