I hit my head

Earlier today while I was getting off my boat I slipped and hit my head on the side of the boat it wasn’t bleeding or anything I told everyone that I didn’t need to go to the hospital but now can’t think straight or remember things and I can’t walk in a straight line and I keep falling down. what could this be?

Answer #1

Don’t go to sleep. When I boxed, and got punchy, they said not to sleep. Might end up in a coma. Go to the hospital and get it checked!

Answer #2

You could be bleeding internally on the brain putting pressure on your brain or even bruise. I suggest you go to the emergency ward (ASAP) and get yourself checked out. Better to be safe than sorry.

Answer #3

YOU NEED TO SEE A DOC! any signs of nausea or uncontrolled dozing could be sign of head injury. and if you brain gets bruised, it swells, if it swells, it rund out of room and has to start moving into the occiptal cavity and towards the medulla oblongata - it does that, you’re screwed. it will then compress on your brain stem and you will die.

moral of the story - any head injury should be checked out. look for signs of clear fluid leaking out the ears or nose. nausea, vomitting, dizzyness and tiredness. you don’t have to bleed to hurt your brain!

Answer #4

def get it checked. I have a boat too and the same thing happened to my brother.
