I have really strange food cravings!

Ok Im a vegetarian so maybe this is why I have random food cravings but recently I’ve been craving cottage cheese-which I absolutely hate-but now I cant stp eating it, Any kind of other cheese too!!! sushi- which I dont eat that often, and sunflower seedss! It so random! Am I not getting enough calcium?

im not pregnant!!! I have random cravings a lot tho! It just seems like I HAVE CRAVINGS FOR FOODS THAT I HATE AND THEN I LIKE THEM!

not saying you are pregnant, I’m saying that sometimes our bodies know better than we do!

and as for cravings, your tastebuds will change throughout your life, I used to love chocolate when I was younger (naturaly) but now, I can eat one square and I’m done.. there are lots of food that I loved and hated, that I hate and love now…

Listen to your body…if you are craving foods that have calcium and protein it’s probably because you’re not getting enough since you aren’t eating meat. Believe me…I’m a vegetarian, and I crave foods all the time… I know I’m not consuming enough protein or calcium…You need to be taking vitamins as well. If you don’t get enough calcium you have a high risk for osteoporosis when you are older…Your body is giving you signals, and your organs/bones are reaching out for some vitamin rich foods. I suggest drinking 3-4 glasses of low-fat or fat free glasses of milk each day and make sure you get some protein somehow as well!

you should listen to your body. there is a theory that our bodies are more intuned to our needs during pregnancy, and we crave something becuase our body needs it…

you’re obviously not a dairy - free veggy, so you should still be having the recomended amount of calcium, and you really need to…oesteoperosis is high in women and we should all take calcium supplments for our bones…

but your carvings seems healthy, so I wouldn’t worry too much…

When me dad stopped smoking he had random cravings for olives. He always hated olives before that.
