How can I finally lose weight after having a baby?

Ok I had a baby last March… (meaning she is 1 1/2) I have become extremely lazy since then. I went from being a total neat freak to a disaster. Never have I been as fat as I am now. I weigh 187 omfg. How did this happen to me I went from a gorgeously shaped 135 to a whooping 187. This is very annoying. I tried execising but I always find my self slacking. Then I bought This slim in 6 package (Debbie Seibers) and thought it would motivate me but it was boring as hell! I just can’t seem to loose this weight. I am so f*ing mad man. It kills me every time I look in the mirror to see myself. I wish the weight would just melt off!! what can I do?

Hi,

The way to lose weight is through healthy diet and exercise. Eat 4-6 SMALL meals a day, consisting of lean meats, whole-grain starches, fruits and vegetables. Set up your plate so 1/4 is meat, 1/4 is starch, 1/2 is fruit and veggies, and there is minimal fat.

If you do this as well as drink 8 glasses of water a day and exercise for 30 min a day a few times a week, you will see healthy results.

Good luck.

Ok hun…I am 22 and have a 3y/o boy and a 6 why/o boy. I have been beating myself up about losting weight for 2 1/2yrs FINALLY after my husband got sent back overseas in January I made myself a promise. I was GOING to lose the weight for myself so I could be happier and healthier. It took me a long time to find a work out that works for me and then I ended up finding 2. I do Tae Bo in the morning for 40 mins and Belly dancing at night before bed for 40 mins and I take lipozene to aid my weight loss…so far so good I have lost about 8 inches in almost 2 months. I also drink 6-8 16oz bottles of water EVERYDAY and eat healthy but comfortably. I am a steamed broccilli fiend and broccilli just so happens to be a natural fat burner. The more natural fat burners you regulate into your body day to day the better your body burns off fat. I eat about 1000-1200 cals a day and burn close to 1600 a day. Then through the day I work and run errands and run after my 3 why/o and clean like a machine. Always work out (if possible) in the mornings and make sure it’s BEFORE you eat…I was told that if you work out in the morning before you eat anything and drink 1 full glass of water before your first meal it boost your fat burning ability. So far so good. I had low self esteem for the longest time and I have hit the laziness part of being a mom too which can sometimes come with post pardum so be careful. Anywho find the plan that suits you and never give up once you find a ruitine that makes you happy one you just can’t WAIT to do the next day and the day after and the day after your entire attitude will change. ALSO, don’t go by scale when you’re working out. Especially if the work out you choose aids in toning of the muscles. MUSCLE WEIGHS a lot MORE THAN FAT remember that! Buy a tape measure…you can get them at walmart for under 2$ I measure myself every thursday and keep a chart and smile everytime I see my progress. YOU CAN DO IT GIRL!! You just gotta get it started and go with it. You’re more than welcome to funmail me with anyother questions you have.
