I hate it when they tell me that I'm intelligent..

My family has plans for me.. I guess they’re expecting too much from me and I hate it when they tell me that I’m intelligent. They used to become frustrated when I fail to do something… What will I do…

Answer #1

Well, I wouldn’t want to fail intentionally. Go on to college, become what you wanna become. There’s only a 3% unemployment rate among those with college degrees. Make something of your life.

But if it really bothers you, tell them it’s your life and to back off. You’re an adult.

Answer #2

No prob. You’re your own person, and obviously, you can take care of yourself. One day, I’m sure you’ll make a great member of society, and perhaps a good provider and mother.

Answer #3

Yeah, I’m actually in my third year in college but I’m afraid… I don’t want to be a failure… Thanks for your advice.. I really appreciate it.. :)

Answer #4

Determine inside you, “I will not fail” and make it happen…you can do it !!

Answer #5

I also wouldn’t want to fail intentionally either if I were you. If it really bothers you what your family says to you, tell them to leave you alone and don’t interfere with life. You’re an adult and I’m so glad you’re in college. I hope you find a career you can be successful in. Your family shouldn’t be interfering with your life. I’m also in college too and I know allot of friends of mine say I’m intelligent too. I don’t mind them telling me that every once in a great while as long as they don’t go overboard with it. Good luck, and be successful.
