How to feel better about myself?

I hate being fat… I hate it when girls complain about their weight and what they look like, or god forbid– they broke or nail… yet here I am criticizing myself about MY OWN looks. sure it makes me an outstanding hypocrit. but my friends are the ones to be blamed. I wouldn’t have thought of my self-image so much if they hadn’t thought of THEIRS all the time.

Is that a picture of you? You’re nowhere close to being fat. Today’s society puts a lot of pressure on us especially women/girls but we can only accept ourselves the way we are. Don’t worry about the things you can’t change or “shouldn’t” change. I’m a size 0 and 1 but I can honestly tell you that I think the “ideal” weight for American women is pretty rediculous. Too many women have low self-esteems because of the “ideal” weight charts. Some men appreciates thicker women with curves if you know what I mean. Not all men like women who wears sizes 0-1 (the ideal size). You’re going through a stage in your life when your friend’s comments matters a lot. Ignore their comments. Look at yourself in the mirror. Pretend no one will ever judge you. Do you feel comfortable with your weight?

This world is filled with judgemental fools but at the end of the day, it only matters how you feel about yourself.
