why do I feel like that??? I can’t cope anymore, but I don’t want to seem needy!!! I don’t want to waste my parents money!!! how much does it cost anyway??

We ALL need help now and then - sounds like you may be excuse-making - don’t stay in denial - only you can help you…life is choices, make Good ones !!

Answer #2

It’s not degrading, they CAN help you cope through your problems. It’s worth your mental health. And your parents would want the best for you and will pay for the price of the counselor so that you can have your life back on track. I honestly don’t know about the costs, but you can ring them for a quote.

Answer #3

I agree with mysterywolf. Counselor’s can help you with a lot that you can’t cope with by yourself. Some insurance plans pay for counselors. Talk to your parents.

Answer #4

People dont like going to see counselors, it means they have a problem and they need help, and that is never a fun thing to admit to yourself. But sometimes it is the only way… and it isnt a waste of your parents money, your mental health and well-being is never a waste of money. You can ask them about it if you’re really concerned. they’ll tell you how your happiness is what is important. And insurance will cover a lot of it… It really depends on your plan…
