I don't know what's happening

I don’t know what’s happening to me. I am doing my post graduation and the previous term I topped my class. But this time one of my lecturers told me that I hadn’t done too well but he also told me that only very few papers had come and the rest were yet to come. And ever since he said that I have been genuinely worried. I keep wondering what would happen if I don’t top? I am normally a hard worker and I put in all my efforts but every time I get nervous and keep worrying whether I would go down in my performance or not. Am I expecting too much out of myself?

I think you are expecting a lot from your self. I understand what it feels like to always want to do your best. The paper has been submitted and you have a record of doing well. You should stop worrying about it because now it is out of your hands.

You can’t expect to be the best every time but it is a great aspiration to try.
