How do I get images of anorexics out of my head?

I really want to be thin. I know I started this account off as just a normal account - to only help people. But lately I’ve had so uch going through my head and I can’t help but think this way.

I look at pro-ana sites. And I really hope this question won’t be deleted because I dont WANT to be anorexic, I just want help to be slim. I’m quite young. I’m not going to say my age on this question, but go back to my profile if you want to see. Everyday the only thing I can think of is starving myself. It gets me in crap moods. Please, I just want to be skinny. Cant anyone out there help me?

“YOU have to move to loose” I dont know who said this but, yea, it works! Just try to be active and exercise. What I do is I do a 3minute juming jax every 1-2 hours. And yes! It really makes a hug difference. The heart rate gose up and so dose your metabolism when you are active. Anyway, If you want to get the images of anorexics out of your mind then simply stop going on the pro ana sites! AND STOP worrying bout your body!! AS long as you have frends and a perfect family then your life is fine :)

I totally understand. I do the same thing. I go onto pro ana sites and look at all the pics. but I dont want an eating disorder. just to be really slim. I dont really eat more than 400-500 cal. a day, but I dont have an ed. I really need motivation when I do these things, and having someone to lose weight with would be great. that way, I would feel I have a reason to go towards my goal, and im willing to help any way I can. if you want to just let me know. I think were both looking for the same thing. not an eating disorder but to lose weight. I can only think of starving myself as well, but so many things say that its the wrong thing to do becuase your metabolism slows. apparently though, if you fast two days and then eat normal the next, your metabolism is fine. and what I’ve been doing is working just fine, so I think I might be able to offer some advice. let me know <3

I know how you feel. Although, I’ve taken the next step. I’ve done all the purging, and not eating.

I lost 4 kilos in a week.

try this one. WORK OUT. u dont have to go to the gym or join a club just get moving find something to do that helps u slim down. its alright to want to be slim but u have to be willing to do the work.

um hi im not going to say my real name for security reasons but my nickname is nana(seven in jap) and I know how yo feel. I havent eaten in two days. I hate myself. I cant look at magazines , tv, I cant even hang out with skinny people and going to school is breaking, and I’ve been looking for someone to share with and support I guess. someone who understands. I know its creepy when someone says stuff to you and youve never met them. but if you could just mail me or something I would love to talk to you. I hope you do :) nana.

The best way is too eat heathily (No this does not mean only eat fruit n veg. It means eat a balanced diet of meat, fish, some carbs like pasta or bread or potatoes, lots of fruit and veg etc etc.) and do about an hour of excersise each day. Don’t do too much exercise though-Anymore than 3 hours is pushing yourself to far and also the more excercise the more you need to eat to compensate. Don’t eat foods like chocolate and things with high saturated fat content however you can treat youself to these once a week. Try to drink 2 litres of water a day. Grapefruit is very good for helping you to loose weight and so is green tea. Also make sure you have your 5 fruit a day and try and get a bit of variety in this. This gives your body the minerals and vitamins to actually work properly. Also water helps your kidneys and liver process and burn the calories more efficently. Hope this helped x
