ahi friend t let me say that jesus loves you and died for you now I know that you have received many answers to your question but iam going to tell you the truth that I have found because I was once lost read acts chapter 2 38,39 but read the whole chapter repent and be baptized in the name of jesus for the remission of sin and you shall receave the gift of the holyghost.it also says in the word of god that if a man has not the spirit of christ he is none of his you need the holyghost and godis real and he has so much wants to give it to you I would encourage you to make seeking jesus a prority and not an option he loves you and wants tto give you life and he relationship he has plans for your life jerimiah 29:11 I encourage you to visit an apostolic,pentecostal church how much do you really want to know him ? start seeking the lord you will find holyghost filled people that will pray for you and help you find the way to the lord I will be praying for you and ifyou have any questions or prayer requests you can email me at lashondraburnett@yahoo.com

I find that my relationship with God is best felt through music. There are some great christian artists out there, some I like are Casting Crowns, Natalie Grant, Jeremy Camp, Third Day and many more. Music really makes me feel close with Jesus.

If you would really like to connect with a higher power. Church isn’t always the answer. Church’s are only designed for fellowship. You can praise and worship in the comfort of your own home.

Just pray. You’ll get your answers from prayer.

Don’t worry about it. If there’s a god out there that wants to have a relationship with you, he’s supposedly omnipotent and up to the task.

…and if not, then why bother yourself with it?

First, I would suggest that you set aside five minutes during the day that you will spend in prayer,. asking Him what he wants of you. Search for churches, but don’t just go to the first one you attend. Take a little while and check things out. Find out about the doctrine, and make sure it fits your beliefs. Pray about it before making a final decision to attend, and again if you decide to become a member. We are in the process of looking for a new church after our recent move, and it’s taking longer than I thought it would to find one.

I like torikeene’s answer. The other thing to add is that we get very hung up on our feelings (you say you don’t ‘feel him anymore’) but God isn’t swayed by feelings like us humans - I believe God is with you even if you haven’t ‘felt’ that presence for years. He loves you and is keen for you to come to Him, so don’t feel bad if your emotions don’t seem in line yet, just pray and look for the right church, like tori says.
