How do I tell him to stop being in love with me?

A collegue of mine who is 2yrs younger to me is in love with me and wants to get married if I agree. He doesn’t behave odd with me. He is my friend too. I told him it is sin to think abt me like that, and he said will change his mind and only be my friend. however he still sometimes shows such a care which easily shows he still thinks of me in the same way. please tell me how to make him understand it is not good to think of a older lady like that.

He’s only two years younger than you… that’s not much of an age difference unless you’re in high school. The problem you’re facing is that you can’t just be like,”Hey would you stop loving me so we could only be friends?” It’s not that simple.. perhaps over time his feelings would subside and fall into only friendship but it’s not just some switch he can flip
