How to straighten out an outline?
For one of my online classes for college, we have to do outlines. I can go to the outline menue in Microsoft word but, I can’t seem to put the inserssion points in the right places. How do I put the subpoints where they need to be? Just need some help.
Are you talking about tabs or margins?
For margins: Go to File > Page Setup > Margin tab and set your margins (1” is typcial)
For tabs: Go to Format > Tabs> Tab stop position and indicate where you want the tab to stop (0.5”)
You can also use your ruler to slide the lines around, but it can get messy (Go to View > Ruler)
