Outline help

Im writing a research paper and have already chosen a topic. I need help on which outline. I’ve already written two. (the topic I chose is Marijauna: its effects/reasons)

Outline#1) Thesis:

 I) Abusers:

A. Reasons why they abuse B. Effects

  1. Body
  2. Mind II) Loved ones: A. B.

or..

Outline#2) Thesis: I)Plant itself: A.Grown B.Sold II)Effects A. Abusers:

  1.Reasons to abuse
  2.Effects on body and mind

B. Loved ones

They’re both kinda bad, but which one should I choose?

I like #2. You’ll be looking at the plant, the substance that causes mind altering, tetrahydracannabinal (THC), and carrying your research from there to the effects on mind, body and to possible outside effects to relatives, friends and society.

Outline 1 needs critical thinking, and although research can give you a lot of answers to it, it’s more subjective and you can imagine that you’re picking on a user’s brain and put yourself in his shoes and figure out how they feel and think when they go through it.

Outline 2 is more straightforward and answers would be mostly research-based.
