ahhh do not listen to jazzlovestoskate!!! I rub S&A Angels Rabbitrt an I know abiut breeding rabbits an how an when to breed them…ok now depends on breed if they are a smaller breed ten the doe MUST be atleast 5months old like a lonhead or any other dawrf breeds the bigger the breed the older the doe has to be like are french lop was bred when she was 8 months usually they should be 9 months but she wanted it an she was fully grown..NEVER put the buck in the does cage she could very much hurt him!!! always put the doe in the buck cage we usally breed are bunnies on the show table an ALWAYS wach them you might not like o but you have to for both the bunnies safty unless you want a dead bunny or unwated bunny cum to stink up the bucks cage or on your floor it does happen that a buck will miss the doe an cum on her fur if so wash her right away bunny cum stinks…try breeding her the next day if she knows she took from the buck she will go after him so then seperate tem right away…a motheris only pregnant for 30days a nesting box with timathoy hay should be put in the 28th day of pregnancy she will pull hair the day of somtimes sooner if she does sooner take out unless she starts the 29th day then leave it alone give her only a bowl of food a day so she don’t over eat an have problems birthing an anither thing NEVER breed a buny once they turn a year old…feel free to private message me:]

Yes, they would have to be in the same cage. Put the female in the males cage. Don’t stand/sit too close to the cage, or they will probaly just pay attention to you. If you WANT to see them, to make sure they did mate, then put the cage somewhere NOT close to you in the same room as you, but make sure you can see them but there not too close. And make sure the room is pretty quite. But that’s if you want to see them mate to see if they actually did. But if you don’t want to then just leave them in the same cage overnight and check on them in the morning. How old are you’re bunnies? Bunnies mate (at the earliest) 3months old. If this didn’t help, go on google and type in something like ‘Mating my Bunnies’ Or if you want, put Rabbits. You don’t HAVE to type that in, but if I were you I would. dogluver.

yes, if you didnt put them in the same cage they couldnt have sex apparently rabbits are ready to mate at 3 months of age if you have a female and male rabbit its best to bring the female into the male rabbits cage, and not the other way around as hes too busy sniffing and probably wont mate then just leave them overnight and they will have probably mated or watch them untill they do heres some more helpfull info about rabbits http://www.hopperhome.com/rabbit_fact_sheet.htm

Rabbit’s AREN’T supposed to be mated until 5 months for a dwarf breed and 10 or so months for the larger breeds. Don’t keep your two rabbits together - they will fight. Bear in mind that the unpedigreed rabbits and the crossbreed’s usually don’t fare well in the real world.

In my experience (I raise, breed, and show my rabbits) all I have to do is put the doe in with the buck and he knows what to do. You should keep an eye on them and you standing close shouldn’t bother the breeding cycle.
