How to know if I should get my lip pierced? pros n' cons?

-Would it look good on me? it might and it might not, piercings dont suit everyone, but that doesnt mean you cant get one, wear a fake piercing and see if that looks good on you

• What about scars? I like the look, but my style changes sometimes. what if I really dont like it later? is the scar really that bad? yes, you will get a scar and the scar is permanent and noticable, he longer you leave it in for the more noticable the scar can be. sometimes you will also be left with a small noticable indent

-Parents! Family! Ok, I would def. wait till 18, but I still dont want them 2 know because they’re SOSOSSOOO against it. Can I hide it? you CANT hide it. you must keep it in for at least 3 months before changing it or taking it out anyway. and your parents look at your face/mouth all the time, especially when you talk, if you think you can get away with it your wrong, you CANT. If your parents dont aproove simply wait untill your old enough to get it yourself, its not thats hard

AHH!! I don’t know what to do!! Kids in my school have it and I think it looks so cute!! Can you give me some pros and cons so I can decide better? all schools with a dress code do NOT allow facial piercings because they are not part of the school uniform, so if your school has a uniform and they see your piercing they will demand you take it out. regardless of how many other kids/teens that have them that they havent noticed yet

for now I would say no, wait untill your out of school

your very pretty=] if you get any piercing there is going to be a scar if you take it out but you could use cocoa butter or something to make it less notecible. but if you get any lip piercing you have to get a monroe done…it would look prettiest on you I think

I would wear a fake one all the time. ALL THE TIME. so you can see how annoying it gets. Then think, do I really want this?

I guess its not so bad because it isn’t a tattoo- you can take it out.

well then at 18 you will be legally an adult and they cant stop you from getting a piercing or force you to take it out if you know what looks best on you, get that or try wearing it everyday for the next few years and see if your sick of it by the time your 18 if your school doesnt have a dress code then piercings are allowed there, I come from australia, and pretty much all schools here hace a dress code, I understand a lot of american schools dont
