My dad always tells every one I know iam spoiled, and it drives me nuts. Because I have a labtop and a tv in my room he tells every1 I have it made and I work at my job and earned it but he wont tell people that part how do I get him to stop because if I didnt work for it I wouldnt mind but he makes it seem like I just took his cash and I didnt, I got it myself

Answer #1

has your dad got any money? or are things a bit tight? as in does he like to take credit to make it ‘seem’ to everyone else that he is providing for you?

what was his childhood like? as in, when he earnt money was he expected to pay ‘rent’ or ‘keep’…and see’s you not paying rent as him letting you have it a little easier..

don’t swear at your dad, I don’t think you need to be told that that is not the most mature way of dealing with it!! all swearing does is show people a limeted vocaulary and no respect for them!!

I would say to your dad, that you feel that by him not acknowledging your work and taking credit for it, you feel frrustrated by it. it’s not right that he takes the credit for your efforts..

how annoying it must be!! but I’d try and figure out why he is ‘boasting’ about your achievments, then you will be able to sort it out…

good luck, it’s a tricky one!

tell him to shut the Ffff up I guess if you can’t get him to stop with anything else if you curse someone out they tend to listen better and actually understand
