I am trying to take off back wheel driver and its not budging when I take a screw driver and a hammer to it

those things piss me off, I tried to get the whole thing off and I ended up trashing the rim, now on the other hand if your just trying to get the the drive-ring (back sprocket) off then on top there is a ring that has a small dip that looks like a dot on both sides, get something with a good tip to get in the dip and turn it to loosen it,now remember(im pretty sure) that just like the crank bolts, to loosen it you turn it backwards to loosen it (to the right to loosen), I hope this helps
