The best flat iron in my opinion is one that steams and you can use it on wet hair. What I do is put a anti frizz cream on my wet hair in sections and then use the flat iron starting from underneath and working outside. Slowly use the flat iron and it will steamm dry and straighten the hair. You could use one on dry hair. Just section it and put a antifrizz or some type of conditioning cream (leave in) and slowly straighten. I recommend a wide toothed comb when done. Voila! It should look great! I have thick wavy almost curly hair and I do this and it works like a charm. I just prefer the wet to dry. Also if using it on dry hair, blow dry it first when it’s wet and use a big brush to try to straighten it first. I find it easier to skip that step and use the wet to dry iron. You can find one at walmart.
