How to deal with my ex boyfriend

Ok I have a very complicated situation…almost 2 months ago, I broke up w/my boyfriend of almost 4 years. through our relationship he was controlling and jealous. which is why I broke it off. I dont even know why I put up with it for so long. I knew he was upset that I dumped him, so I said I wanted to at least be good friends. he went on to threaten me, call me 50+ times a day (seriously) and show up at my house a few times. I know he might be a little crazy and probably has something wrong. the past few days he has been leaving me messages threatning to kill himself and overdose, because of me. this is bothering me so much I dont know what to do! I told his mom but I dont know if she did anything. that would ruin my life to know someone killed themself over me, what do I do! he is making me miserable, even though we’re not even together anymore which I thought would be the answer to the problems. what should I do about this?? help please any advice will be good

My ex said the same, funny thing is…hes still around! Hes only saying those words to make you come crawling back. If he REALLY wanted to kill himself, he would have done it already. Dont fall for his lines…because thats his way of keeping you connected to him. The best thing you can do is IGNORE HIM. He sounds crazy, and the more he gets a rise out of you, the more hes going to do it. You have to CUT ALL TIES WITH HIM! If you dont acknowledge him, he’ll eventually give up.

You might want to make him go see the psychologist, or pyschiatrist…he might have a mental problem that you didn’t know of until now. Or you could get a court restraining order against him but I think the best way would be to notify people. Like you notified his mother, well maybe you’d want to notify his doctor or the police. I’ve heard of to many girls who have been murdered over something like this.

My guy friend did that to his girlfriend when they broke up. They were all idle threats, he just really wanted her back and she wasn’t coming. He’s probably doing the same to you, hoping that you’ll feel really bad for him and take him back. Just ignore him or call him up and explain that your not getting back with him. no matter what. If that doesn’t work call the cops. I’m not kidding they can put a stop to his calls. Hope this helps

Answer #4

Tell him that if he truly loves you he’ll get professional help.
