How to charge a screenlocked ipod.

My ipods battery died while on screenlock. And it wont charge when its locked. What can I do?

did you try going to apple.com and finding which model you have and then looking at the user manual/troubleshooting for that model?

hold the play button and toggle the hold switch. I think that should restart it..it worked for mine
