Yes,every iPod is like that I believe. From The iPod Classic,to the Nano’s,to the 3rd Generation Nano,to the iPod Touch & Phone,etc.

yeah it will charge while it’s off… it actually charges faster that way.

your ipod will charge if the ipod is off but not if the computer isnt
