How to build floors on the sims 2 double deluxe ?

How can I add another floor to my house ? I’m trying to make more than 1 storie , I’m trying to make a huge house so all the sims in the neighbor hood can live in it ^^

click the up arrow that makes it go up to the second story

then go to tools and click the roof icon

then click the flat one and there should be a floor there

hope those directoins werent to hard to understand. if they were then sorry!

Okay. So you put the foundation on. And then you put the walls on. You go to the bar on the left and click on the roof that makes you go up another floor. There you should see squares where you add a flooring. You put more walls up and keep doing it over and over untill you get as many floors as you want. I could only make 3 floors though 0_0
